Paycheck Calculator (2026)
Estimate your take-home pay after federal income tax, Social Security, Medicare and state tax.
How this calculator works
We subtract your 401(k) contribution, then the 2026 standard deduction ($16,100 single, $32,200 married filing jointly), and apply the 2026 federal brackets (IRS Rev. Proc. 2025-32). Social Security is 6.2% up to $184,500 of pay (SSA). Medicare is 1.45%, plus 0.9% on pay above $200,000 ($250,000 married). Texas, Florida, Washington, Tennessee, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Wyoming and Alaska have no state tax on wages. For other states, enter your state rate.
